Cryptocurrency Markets Take a Dip: Top Altcoins Losing Ground

The cryptocurrency market appeared to be stable this morning, but it has taken a dive as the day has progressed. Perhaps the potential altcoin season was celebrated too soon as many cryptocurrency prices have plummeted by 5% or more. Even other markets, such as gold and silver, are currently showing significant declines. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization has dropped by over 3% to $1.27 trillion. Let’s take a closer look at some of the top cryptocurrencies and see how they’re faring.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin (BTC) reclaimed $30,000 yesterday, but it has since lost that grip and is currently diving towards $29,200 at the time of writing. Despite this drop, Bitcoin is still holding up stronger than most altcoins and is currently only down by 2%. We’re also seeing investors and even whales accumulating more Bitcoin.
