The Future of Bitcoin: PlanB’s Price Predictions
Succesful BTC Price Prediction
PlanB, a renowned Dutch analyst, has become a well-established figure in the Bitcoin world, particularly due to his famous Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model. This model uses a formula that divides the total supply (stock) of Bitcoin by the annual production capacity (flow), allowing PlanB to accurately map the price movements of Bitcoin in the past.
However, during the 2021 bull market, PlanB faced criticism as the BTC price, according to his model, was expected to surpass the $100,000 mark. Despite this, PlanB remained undeterred and in January of this year, he shared new predictions regarding Bitcoin’s future.
PlanB’s Bold Predictions
On January 12th, when the price of Bitcoin was around $18,000, PlanB stated that he believed the low of $15,500 reached in November would mark the bear market’s absolute bottom. He also predicted that Bitcoin would rise leading up to the BTC halving scheduled for April of next year.
With the current price of Bitcoin significantly higher than last year’s November low, it is highly likely that these predictions were accurate. However, investment landscapes are never 100% certain, and unforeseen events can still occur.

What Lies Ahead for Bitcoin?
In his January predictions, PlanB also stated that he expects Bitcoin to reach a price of at least $32,000 when the block subsidy is halved. Additionally, he predicts that Bitcoin will peak at a minimum of $100,000 in 2025.
His most recent X-post confirms that he still fully stands by his predictions. Specifically, he believes that at the time of the halving, Bitcoin will be worth between $32,000 and $66,000. Furthermore, his projection for the peak in 2025 ranges from $100,000 to $1,000,000.
While no one truly knows what the future holds for Bitcoin, PlanB’s previous successful predictions have established him as a credible and trusted analyst within the cryptocurrency community. It will be fascinating to see if his latest projections come to fruition and how the Bitcoin market evolves in the coming months and years.
