The Curious Case of Satoshi Nakamoto: Is the Real Bitcoin Creator Back?
New Message on BTC Creator’s Account
In May 2018, an account was created on Twitter under the name of Satoshi Nakamoto. Today, it is a verified account with a total of 56,700 followers. After five years of silence, yesterday marked a major development.
In a new message, which has already been viewed 4.6 million times, it was stated that the coming months will be dedicated to exploring additional significant issues about Bitcoin that were left out of the original whitepaper launched in 2008. Specifically, the following was written in the message:
“Bitcoin is a predicate machine. In the coming months, we will explore various aspects that were not explicitly included in the whitepaper. These aspects are all part of Bitcoin and are important. Some of these ideas were hinted at in the early years: now it’s time to extrapolate and explain.”
This message has garnered a lot of attention within the crypto community. People are particularly invested in uncovering the identity behind this account. However, the likelihood of the true creator of Bitcoin having control over this X-account is quite low.

Which Bitcoin Enthusiast is Behind this Account?
The fact that this account is verified doesn’t hold much weight since it can easily be achieved through a subscription service. It is much more probable that someone is trying to impersonate Satoshi Nakamoto rather than the actual Bitcoin creator being behind this account. In fact, nobody knows if Satoshi Nakamoto is still alive today.
Since we haven’t witnessed any official communication from Satoshi Nakamoto for years, and it is highly unlikely that we ever will again, the rumor mill around this topic has been running at full speed since the early days. The resurrection of this X-account brings the discussion back to life.
Australian computer scientist Craig Wright has spent years trying to convince people that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. Given that the account was created in 2018, just like Craig Wright’s account, many suspect that he is the one in control of the X-account.
Most likely, the mystery surrounding Satoshi Nakamoto and this X-account will never be unravelled. However, it is still intriguing that the account has come back to life after five years of silence.
